The Moon reaches its next Full phase in the sign of Aries on Sunday, 13th October at 2:08p PDT (20.23°). This is a time of great intensity which is showing up not only in our collective experience, but in our personal lives as well. The relational imbalances are coming out into open now, calling to be resolved. Yet despite the apparent breakdowns of options for peace and civility between us, there is something beautiful preparing to emerge.

The Sun is in Libra, which is a cardinal air sign – objective, logical, and always seeking beauty, balance, and peace. The challenge for the Libra Sun is that in searching for and/or sustaining those states of being, we develop a heightened awareness of everything that is not those states of being – the ugliness, imbalance, and conflict/anger stand out more than ever. There are people desperately looking for peaceful solutions, trying to negotiate fair and balanced options for resolving conflicts, and eager to bring beauty back into an increasingly ugly world. Somehow, these efforts only serve to bring attention to the absence of those solutions and options, as well as an absence of willingness to make additional efforts to seek them.

The frustration, conflict, and anger coming to the surface are most readily seen and perceived through the energy of this Moon in Aries, which is a cardinal fire sign – initiative, assertive (potentially aggressive), active, and independent/individual (or at least willing to act alone or for its own interests). Conflict and anger will be expressed impulsively, assertively or aggressively, and with little consideration for others. Partners may not be consulted – in fact, the action(s) may be directed as said partner.

Yet all of the chaos isn’t just about negative energies – it’s also about passion and joie de vivre! This 2019 Aries Full Moon is also inspiring and encouraging people to take positive action steps to move themselves forward in their lives – to be pro-active in taking steps toward independence and individuality in order to define their self-identity – a clear identity which can be shared confidently with others, especially in one-on-one relationships of all kinds.

Let’s also mention that numerologically speaking, this 2019 Aries Full Moon is occurring on an 8 universal day in a 4 universal month in a 3 universal year in the Western half of the world; and the same annual and monthly influences with a 9 universal day in the Middle and Far Eastern half of the world. That means that we are all being asked to learn from and grow through the occurring events and the experiences we are having as result of them; and we are all being confronted right now with questions about stability, security, structure, and safety in at least one if not all areas of our lives (most likely showing up in our relationships with others and ourselves). You may notice that there are folks who refuse to acknowledge that there is instability and injustice. They’re determined to carry on as if “everything’s fine” and the status quo is still intact. But they’re about to have their rose-colored glasses shattered as the changes and dissentions are becoming too extreme to be contained. It’s an increasingly volatile time, and everything is not fine.

That said, those in the West are experiencing questions regarding influence as a form of power – who is influencing us individually and collectively, and is what they are speaking and spreading factually true or honest, or is it meant to distract or misinform from factual truth? And in the East, there’s a sense of fulfillment, completion, and the chosen or forced conclusion of certain ideas, beliefs, and/or ways of being in our relationships, communities, and societies. Endings of the status quo aren’t just palpable – they’re obvious, and the changes occurring now are likely to be irreversible.

So how is this playing out in our lives and in the world around us?

Let’s start with the world since these dynamics are quite obvious right now.

Libra is known for trying to keep the peace, even when matters are out of balance, unjust, or unfair; and especially if they are emotionally and/or identity invested in any of the involved parties. To that point, there have been many people who have witnessed and experienced the growing polarity in social and societal values, beliefs, and practices; yet have done little or nothing to prevent the divide from increasing. Part of that has been reluctance to “pick a side”. More of that has been a refusal to engage in the polarity – either because they don’t want to pick a side or because they don’t want to upset or lose anyone from their lives by choosing a side. Some even go as far as to deny that the polarity even exists!

Yet during this 2019 Aries Full Moon, the fact that it’ll be hard to deny or ignore the expanding polarity is serving a purpose. In fact, under the influence of this lunar energy, we will realize just how much the division is helping each and all of us distinguish the nature of the information being exchanged. We will be gaining comfort and confidence in separating fiction from facts, lies from truth.

But the most notable characteristic of this growing separation is that Light is beginning to shine onto darkness, and things long hidden from view are now being revealed. We are beginning to see the lies, façades, and other fictional accounts for what they are; and we’re finding ourselves having to shift the way we think and speak about the world around us, and our perceptions about each other and ourselves in that world.

As more people wake up to the undeniable truths of what is happening around them and how those happenings affect them directly, more people are finding themselves finding and using their voices and/or taking actual action steps to express their concern, and possibly their opposition to what is happening. The energy dynamics occurring right now are concerning on the world stage. More than a comfortable number of world leaders are going to extremes to eliminate dissent and/or perceived threats to their positions of power. And more and more people are finding the courage to voice their dissent with their leaders. There is a growing sense that conflict is quickly moving from concept to practical reality.

This is more evident in the East right now than the West as we see the conflicts in Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Hong Kong, and more in that half of the world. Under this Full Moon influence, we can expect to see those situations make definitive turns during this week of the Full Moon phase influence as the efforts to find peaceful solutions seem to dissolve or disappear completely.

Yet what we’re seeing in the West is the imbalance of power and the extreme injustices and hypocrisy some are willing to engage in so they can maintain their positions of power and authority. There isn’t much holding back for civility’s sake now – the gloves are coming off, and the fight for power and influence is becoming rather “knock down, drag out” and very personal, even in public matters.

These dynamics are not exclusive to the collective experience. We will also be seeing and experiencing these energies in our personal lives and relationships as well. Areas of agreement may result in joint action(s) – you and your partner may take steps you’ve been procrastinating or delaying because you feel a sense that if you’re going to do it, you need to do it now. However, areas of disagreement in your relationships may become full-blown conflicts. This is a personal level call to take action in and for your life, and how you answer this call will be very insightful for you and others. You may learn how committed are you to making your everyday life functional and aligning it with Truth. You may also learn which extremes you’re willing to go to in your life in order to clear old and/or toxic relationship patterns from your life.

Just like in the collective dynamic, there are revelations of factual truth occurring in your personal relationships as well. These revelations are pushing you to choose your course from this point forward. Do you want to continue living in conflict, or are you ready to let go of some things you thought you couldn’t live without in order to find peace and/or freedom? You may find yourself pushed to an extreme at this time – one where you “just can’t take it anymore!” and some sort of action must be taken to correct the imbalance, even if only a little bit to start.

There have been shifts occurring before now. Yet the 2019 Aries Full Moon seems to open the flood gate. During its window of influence from the 10th through 16th October, this Full Moon phase is going to bring forth revelations and push for corrective change in ways we haven’t seen in a long time if ever in recent years (and I mean recent as in a good half-century or more).

This is a historic time.

Pay attention to what is happening, and what you are choosing to be and to align yourself with.

Because:

  1. The solution may be to allow everything to collapse.
  2. At some point, the chaos and collapse will subside, and there will need to be people willing and ready to restore balance and beauty to the world.

Looking at the transits occurring during this 2019 Aries Full Moon at the time of maximum phase:

The most important and most exact transit configuration of this 2019 Aries Full Moon is a T-SQUARE configuration the Libra Sun-Aries Moon opposition forms with Capricorn Pluto at the point (20°). This is very important, as it indicates that society is undergoing a powerful transformation – our societal structures and institutions are either being empowered and strengthened, or they are being destabilized and possibly destroyed. This is not a light or easy energy – this is a heavy and deeply challenging energy as people are being called upon to take action to defend or destroy, and/or to be in action to position oneself for the opportunities available during and shortly after the transformation process. Pluto’s energy makes this a power play. On the Libra Sun end, the light is revealing the imbalances, the hypocrisies, the injustices, and the absence of peace. On the Aries Moon end, our emotions are calling us to take action and do something to bring equal and opposite to the other.

There are many who are resisting the growing polarity – who don’t want to acknowledge it or get caught up in it. They want to be neutral, and will do their best to remain neutral. Yet circumstances may become volatile enough where neutrality isn’t possible. A side must be taken, and as things increasingly come to a head, it will become harder to avoid the inevitable. In fact, those who try to stand in passivity, avoidance, or ignorance as things continue to collapse may find themselves run over or hit head on by the impact of the conflicts and changes occurring.

That’s the thing that is most important is that this 2019 Aries Full Moon – the call to action. This is not a time to try and be passive – this is not a time to sit back and allow others to dictate the direction of your life. It’s easy to say that you’re just going to go with the flow or observe, but be aware that in doing so, you may be giving up your opportunity to choose your course…

…which leads us into one other big configuration:

  • Sequence of Virgo Juno semi-sextile Libra Sun semi-sextile Scorpio Pallas semi-sextile (Sagittarius Ceres conjunct Jupiter) semi-sextile Capricorn Pluto (18-21°) – There’s a commitment to finding functional solutions to the matters-at-hand, yet in combing through the details of those matters, imbalances and injustices are brought to the surface, and a desire to resolve them awakens… which leads to a recognition of the patterns of behavior that have probably been actively in place for much longer than expected… which results in the expansion of the search for factual Truth as well as an increased value of Truth in all matters… which leads to a realization that a major transformation is necessary, and the only way to bring that transformation about may be to destroy the societal structures in place (or allow them to collapse) in order to clear and replace them with something that reflects balance, equality, fairness, justice, peace, and beauty for all.

A few other important transits within 3° conjunction orb during the 2019 Aries Full Moon:

  • Pisces Neptune Retrograde conjunct Black Moon Lilith (16-18°) – This transit reveals how invested our ego identities are invested in our ideals, dreams, and façades. In fact, ego-driven delusions are being revealed as such now. We will see others (or experience ourselves) going into a victimization mindset because the self-image delusions and social façades are dissolving and unable to be upheld.

This conjunction plays three more important roles:

  • Scorpio Pallas Athena trine (Pisces Neptune Retrograde conjunct Black Moon Lilith) (16-18°) – The patterns are revealing themselves, and as they do, they not only expose the lies and pretenses which have been upheld by them, they also reveal just how deeply these lies and pretenses have ingrained themselves into our individual or collective consciousness. Some of us are so emotionally invested in these lies, there is a default survival mode kicking in where we’re willing to go to whatever extremes necessary in order to preserve our world view (a.k.a. – uphold the delusion). Others of us are so devastated by the piercing of the veil that victimization mindset is quickly being employed. Either way, we are learning how our invested we are in having our egos be
  • Sagittarius Ceres square (Pisces Neptune Retrograde conjunct Black Moon Lilith) (16-18°) – More and more people are searching for and/or demanding factual Truth. Yet as the call grows louder, it also becomes clear that those who have been able to fake their way through certain aspects of their lives won’t be able to fake it much longer. In fact, they are feeling increasingly vulnerable to the pressure of Truth, not understanding that by allowing it, they could set themselves free on so many levels.
  • Sagittarius Jupiter square Pisces Black Moon Lilith (18-20°) – The more Truth emerges, the more the ego pays victim to it. Look for this dynamic being played out in your own behavior, and in the behaviors of others. Amplified victim behavior means the emerging truth is dissolving the ego’s façade and pushing your delusional self-image to collapse.

Of course, that reveals that…

  • Sagittarius Ceres conjunct Jupiter (18-20°) – Getting to the factual truth is of paramount importance now – it is a priority value, and people wanting to connect with others across the usual social and societal boundaries would be wise to align with Truth at this time as people are becoming more aware of what is factually true and what is being revealed as lies.

Also of note:

  • Virgo Juno trine Capricorn Pluto (20-21°) – A commitment to “make it work” may have one of two results – the negotiation of a workable compromise, or the realization of an impasse. In the face of an impasse, the only solution that could work may end up being cleaning the slate completely – destroying it all in order to start again.
  • Scorpio Venus opposite Taurus Uranus Retrograde (5°) – This dynamic reveals how the “all-or-nothing” expectations of our relationships are actually toxic, and often do more harm than good in establishing or maintaining balance, equality, fairness, and justice in our one-on-one connections with others. Especially as we are all experiencing rapidly-changing social and societal values, it’s important to recognize that we’re all experiencing change and those changes are affecting us differently, and we may be seeing things in and about our relationships – for better and worse – that we didn’t see before now, yet feel called to deal with now. This may result in some unexpected changes in relationships – either the balance of power shifts between the partners, or there’s a coming together… or a tearing apart.
  • Libra Mars semi-sextile Scorpio Venus (5°) – Actions intended to bring balance or justice may end up bringing about extreme emotional reactions instead, especially in one-on-one relationships of any and all kinds. This is the result of fears of one’s emotional vulnerabilities coming out into the open, so if you experience people getting really angry with you for taking a particular action or making a particular choice, it’s likely they see your choice and/or action(s) as a threat to or an attack on their emotional vulnerability.

The 2019 Aries Full Moon is a passionate expression of a desire for balance and beauty… and a reminder that beauty and peace are not easily come by nor easily maintained. It is also a reminder of the fact that the truth always comes to Light… and this is that time of Light. As façades and status quos collapse, it may be chaotic, and the instability may have you feeling insecure and unsafe. Yet remember that out of the ashes comes beauty. We’re in the early stages of the transformation process, yet trust that whatever comes, it will eventually give way to calm and beauty.

Beauty will emerge from the breakdown. It always does.
