Yods are interesting configurations in astrology simply because they take two energies that complement each other and point to something that seems completely unrelated as the place where their energies are expressed.
Case and point: Ceres in Capricorn sextile Neptune in Pisces. On 31st January 2015, these energies reveal a personal value system based upon ideals and dreams, and possibly fantasies or delusions – a value system that dictates the type of lifestyle you and/or others may want to live. Ceres and Neptune each form quincunx aspects to Juno Retrograde in Leo which brings you into a greater awareness of the people who see your unique expression of Light and encourage it by acknowledging the Truth of who you are.
In other words, you begin to notice how others perceive you and the type of lifestyle you live.
However, this isn’t just a Yod – it’s a “Boomerang”. There is an opposition involved here, and it’s Mercury Retrograde in Aquarius that opposes Juno Retrograde in Leo. Mercury Retrograde in Aquarius invites you to pay attention to how the people and environments in your life give you feedback about who you are to or for them. This opposition helps you see not only who you are for others, but also who others are for you. Through the influence of this configuration, you get to see which people, groups, teams, and communities truly nurture, support, and encourage your individual self-expression as well as which ones appreciate who you are as an individual for sharing yourself with them.
This Boomerang is a rather slow-moving configuration, which is good because there a second Boomerang which moves very quickly through 31st January 2015.
Boomerang #2 involves Moon in Cancer sextile Black Moon Lilith in Virgo. These energies reveal a strong emotional desire for nurturing, caring, and protection to be expressed complementing a deep soulful desire to have a life and lifestyle that healthfully and practically functions on a day-to-day basis. There may be some emotional acting-out that reveals some long-held emotional pain that needs to be resolved.
The fascinating thing is, these Moon and Black Moon Lilith energies point to…the same Mercury Retrograde in Aquarius–Juno Retrograde in Leo opposition as the first Boomerang! Both configurations share this heightened awareness of self and others. This helps you see not only how emotionally and spiritually supportive and encouraging you are of others, but also how emotionally supportive and encouraging others are for you. Through the influence of this second Boomerang configuration, you get to see and feel where you are truly welcome and where you truly practically and actively belong.
But wait! There’s more!
There’s not only two Boomerang configurations on this day. They are complemented by not just one, but two Golden Rectangle configurations (2 sextiles + 2 trines in each)!
The first is a Golden Rectangle involves the North Node in Libra, Juno Retrograde in Leo, Sun conjunct Mercury Retrograde in Aquarius, and South Node conjunct Uranus in Aries. This first Rectangle may bring partners and collaborators who are likely to play important roles in moving you from theory into action in matters of your life purpose. The people who come in can help you move your innovative ideas from the realm of thought into action in unexpected ways, but choose your collaborators wisely. You want to bring in people who can truly assist you in shining your unique expression of Light fully into the world individually and as part of a collective whole.
Yet Pluto in Capricorn squares both the North Node in Libra and the South Node-Uranus conjunction in Aries which sit at opposing corners of the first Golden Rectangle, strongly indicating that old institutions that have always instigated aggressive or violent acts to enforce discipline or control over large numbers of people may now find themselves threatened by the same violence or dismantling they tend to inflict. The people long-affected by them (including you) may finally be saying “enough is enough”, and may rise up and take action to challenge and/or remove the powers-that-be in order to reclaim autonomy and freedom of expression.
The second Golden Rectangle is comprised of the Yod base of the Cancer Moon and Virgo Black Moon Lilith trine Ceres in Capricorn sextile Venus conjunct Neptune in Pisces. This first rectangle grounds and focuses your vacillating emotional energies in ways that can make your dreams more realistically possible. By being willing to admit to your deepest everyday desires, you can make emotional breakthroughs that will help you take actual and practical steps forward in your life’s journey.
What’s pretty darn awesome is that both of the Boomerang configurations fit within the second Golden Rectangle!
This 2 x 2 configuration experience brings some extremely powerful energy to the day. Even if the day brings challenges, the Rectangles will encourage the energy being generated by the Boomerangs to be expressed in a positive and optimistic way, and to ultimately bring good things forward from the tension.
When it’s all said and done, it’s a turning point kind of day. Things turn from bad to better as we recognize that the work that needs to be done is starting to be reveal itself.
The first and the first Yod-Boomerang configuration and the first Golden Rectangle have been around for a couple of days now, and will continue to be felt until early on 1st February 2015.
The second Yod-Boomerang configuration and the second Golden Rectangle will both be very short-lived as the Moon is involved with both. They will only be present on Saturday the 31st, but they could make lasting impacts through their brief presences.
