Earlier today, 1st February 2015 at 9:36a PST, Venus in Pisces made an exact conjunction with Neptune in the same sign.  Venus isn’t exactly comfortable in Pisces as Venus rules an air sign (Libra), so it’s usually in more logical, reasonable, and rational environments. When paired with Neptune – the ruler of Pisces – in Pisces, Venus’ intellectual objectivity and reasoning process is severely compromised as it’s outnumbered 3 elements to 1.

This 2015 conjunction of Venus and Neptune in Pisces has a bit more intensity and depth than the others from these recent years.  In this 2015 version, the imaginative and visionary elements of this combination and their impact on your everyday life are a bit more pronounced.  Artistic and philanthropic vision abounds, and there are more efforts being taken to implement these creative and visionary ideas than ever before.  There is also more idealism and romanticism than there has been in previous years, and this may result in more partnerships and relationships experiencing challenges due to deception, co-dependency, or martyrdom.

More than ever, you may be finding that what they’ve believed your partnerships and relationships with another, others, the world, and/or the Universe to be are not so much the case.  Especially in matters of diplomacy, peacemaking, or peacekeeping, you and others (individuals and groups alike) may be getting doses of reality that hit closer to home than you could ever have imagined.  You may begin to recognize where you’ve unnecessarily sacrificed your own well-being for others, where you’ve been more dependent on others than you needed to be, where you’ve allowed others to be more dependent on you than they needed to be, or where you’ve lied or been lied to or you’ve led or been led astray by others with ulterior motives or adverse intentions.

However, the overly-romanticized and frankly delusional “rose-colored glasses” effect that often occurs during Venus conjunct Neptune in Pisces may find its balance this time around.  Thanks to Black Moon Lilith in Virgo which is in opposition to this 2015 Pisces Venus-Neptune conjunction, you’re more inclined to (or you may find yourself forced to) make sure that your dream has a practical plan for fulfillment and that the realization of your dream will actually fulfill your actual and practical needs.  This is because Black Moon Lilith in Virgo reveals a deep desire for a functional, practical everyday life.  It provides a grounding, centering, and humbling emotional energy that makes sure that you’re not running off into Neverland with a fantasy that can never be or become what you need, want, to expect it to be in the day-to-day reality of your life.  Your idealistic dreams can come true, your inspired visions can become reality…but you need to experience and understand the reality of them first in order to be well-positioned to take the steps that will make them actually, practically, and factually real.

Black Moon Lilith makes exact opposition with Venus on 2nd February at 6:06a PST, while it has already made exact conjunction with (yet is still within 3° orb of) Neptune on 19th January 2015. Black Moon Lilith’s effects on Venus will last through 5th February 2015, while its effect on Neptune will continue through 1st March 2015.
