Juno is the planet of commitments of all kinds, not just marriage.  Therefore, with Juno now in Leo as of 2:08p PDT yesterday, 7th October 2014, you are committed to acknowledging and being acknowledged in whichever area(s) of your life are touched by Leo energy in your astrology chart as Juno passes through this bold, fixed-energy fire sign.

Juno in Leo may spark a commitment to whatever allows you or another to shine your unique expression of Light brilliantly into the world.  In this case of this 2014 Juno in Leo, you are inclined to make promises to whatever and whomever invests in and encourages your own inner Light to shine OR you may be committed to acknowledging whomever or whatever inspires you to shine.  Anyone and anything that inspires you and/or puts you in a position to be acknowledged and celebrated is something you may find yourself drawn to…or drawn into commitment with.

Yet some of you may not even (consciously) want to be acknowledged.  You may continue on, never considering that you have something special to share with others simply by being your True self.  Under the influence of Juno in Leo, others may put you in the spotlight just because they see the promise of your Light, they love your Light, and they want to encourage you to shine your Light and fulfill your potential and promise.  Your authenticity and integrity may be celebrated now.  People may be as committed to your brilliance as you are, and in some cases, they may possibly even more committed than you are to shining your Light into the world.

The important things to remember when speaking about Juno are the distinctions between commitment, value, and action – commitment and value are not always one in the same.  Your budding commitment to shining your Light or bringing attention to the Light of another may contrast or challenge your personal values.  Your values may not align with the commitment awakening under Juno in Leo.  As result, the action(s) you or others may be taking out of commitment to shining Light into the world may not line up with your values, and you may find yourself in a dilemma – do you honor your word and promises, or do you stay true to your values?  And can you do both?

You may value and care about certain people or things in your life and you may be committed to making sure those people and/or things are acknowledged, or you may want them to acknowledge you.  You could just as easily be committed to the acknowledgment of people and/or things that you don’t necessarily value or care about.  The key is to notice which you are acting upon.

  • Are your actions in alignment with your promises (commitments, obligations) to yourself OR in alignment with what you truly value? Are your commitments in alignment with your words or your values? Are your commitments to others in alignment with your own values?  Are your commitments in alignment with their values?
  • Are others acting in alignment with their promises (commitments, obligations to you OR in alignment with your value to them? Are others’ commitments in alignment with their values?  Are their commitments in alignment with your values?
  • How does your commitment to acknowledge the Light of others align with how you shine and radiate your own brilliance? How much you value your own Light?
  • What are you committed to being acknowledged for?

On a larger scale, we may notice that in the world around us, more and more attention is being brought to promises made and broken, and how value and commitment may be two different things.  This isn’t necessarily a bad thing as Juno in Leo may provide opportunities to notice how commitments/promises may be empty because you or others actually value and act upon something else.

Take a moment to consider both what is happening in your own life as well as the world around you.  Notice that in the day-today events and activities, you can see both what is being promised and what is being valued your life and in the world right now simply by noticing what your attention and the collective attention is being focused on during Juno in Leo.

  • What types of people and behaviors are being acknowledged, and which ones are being promised attention and resource?
  • Who is making the promises to others and what is being promised?
  • And are those who were promised actually getting what they were promised, or are actions being taken and resources being invested elsewhere?

Juno in Leo is here to shine Light upon what is really being promised and whether or not those promises are being delivered.  If they are, the integrity and honor of commitments fulfilled will be celebrated by all.  If they are not, the true values of those who have made those promises will be revealed.

There are sure to be some interesting revelations over the next few months.  Juno will be in Leo through 1st July 2015.
